This was one of my favorite walking tours I’ve ever taken, and I’ve been on MANY of them all over the world. The guide was extremely well informed and took special care to convey the significance of various aspects of this historic part of Boston. I was a tourist from California, but I bet there are many locals who would have been as fascinated on the history and influence of the North End district of Boston. The pace and depth of information was tailored to my interest. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone considering a visit to Boston, and to locals who want to better understand their city roots.Written on Mar 18 2012

The stories you hear and the historical facts you learn are incredible. Michelle, our guide, really made it all come to life. Mosts people have heard the stories of the Old North Church, but you have no idea what all went on and with whom in the North End of Boston since its start in the early 1600s. And when the tour is done, you are within steps of incredible bakeries and restaurants. A great way to spend a morning.Written on Nov 22 2011

Michelle was Excellent! We had such a fabulous time on our tour. Despite the rain, Michelle kept us comfortable and entertained with her enthusiasm and fun knowledge of the stories you don't get to hear on any other tour. The North End is packed with history and intimate stories. We loved this tour!Written on Oct 20 2011
