My Son the Waiter, A Jewish Tragedy tells the humor-filled and heartwarming tale of actor-comedian Brad Zimmerman, whose 29-year quest to build a performing career is supported by a "temporary" job in the restaurant industry. Zimmerman, who's opened for Joan Rivers, George Carlin and Brad Garrett, shares stories of his oft-hilarious family, career and none-too-successful love life in this one-man show that's played to appreciative audiences across the country. You might also recognize him from The Sopranos, where he played Johnny Sack's lawyer -- so at least he could say he met his parents' expectations, even if it was as a fictional character. Learn More

Very unusual concept piece. Huge kudos to the actors for very real and compelling performances. I left the theater with the distinct feeling that I would really need to think about it. It dragged a bit in the first act, but the second act was surprisingly revelatory.
Quotes & Highlights
“Great central characters, winning snatches of dialogue and nuanced touches of historical accuracy help immerse the audience into a time when the nation was tearing itself in two.” —NE Theatre Geek
“All in all, I cannot recommend The Seabirds strongly enough. I can quite happily say that my opinion of Argos Productions remains as high as it ever has been, and I am dearly looking forward to their next set of shows, and for William Orem’s play to continue on to even larger venues in the future, because it certainly deserves it.” —MyEntertainmentWorld.com

About the Ticket Supplier: Argos Productions
At Argos, we believe that the strongest way for us to help playwrights grow as writers is through production of their work. Putting the characters in three dimensions is the way we like to work, so the focus of our efforts is to get the play up on its feet. However, we know that not every show is ready for the stage right away, so Argos Productions strives to provide insight, support, and potential development opportunities to all playwrights who come to us, whenever resources will allow.
