Die Fledermaus is the most popular comic operetta ever written. In Johann Strauss Jr.'s sparkling musical comedy, everyone's trying to get something: a pair of friends engage in a fierce battle of pranks, a beautiful wife disguises herself as a Hungarian countess and contemplates infidelity, and her maid just wants to be an actress. All their schemes intertwine at a grand ball with hilariously comic results. You'll enjoy some of the greatest waltzes ever written, and since the all-student cast sings in English, you won't miss out on the plot. Learn More

Description was misleading. It was an opera not a play. It was hard to know what was going on without reading the plot in the playbill. The story was good, but not effective as an opera. My boyfriend was so bored he fell asleep midway through.
