Shakespeare's beloved comedy is transported to a wintry forest for an enchanting escape this season. The whimsical story of romance, mischief and magic follows four young lovers into the woods on a sparkling cold night as they become the unwitting victims in a lover's quarrel between the king and queen of fairies. When a group of local rustics rehearsing a play also gets caught up in the madness, the comical snarl of spells seems impossible to sort out. But with fairies and sprites all around, it just takes a little more magic and, as Puck puts it, "all is mended." Kristin Clippard directs. Tickets for opening night include an hors d'oeuvres/dessert reception. Learn More

Annapolis Shakespeare, under the direction of Sally D'Angelo, has produced another stunningly beautiful performance! The costumes, designed by Maggie Gunther are exquisite, and the story moves seamlessly from Britain to Rome to Milford and back again with the help of original music composed by Jonathan Boulden. The actors, many of whom play multiple roles, are completely committed to their characters and draw the audience into the fairy tale as they tell their stories. The fight scenes are well choreographed by Paul Hope and well played by these young actors. Go see this amazing show!
