Bram Stoker's Dracula Unleashes a Thirst for Blood
Leading up to Halloween, Bowie Community Theatre presents Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston's adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula. When Lucy Seward, daughter of the head of an English sanitarium, is struck with a mysterious illness, Dr. Van Helsing believes she is the victim of a vampire, a sort of ghost that goes about at night sucking blood from its victims. Watch as madness ensues and both plot and blood thicken in the original Broadway version of the story, a melodrama that featured the debut of Bela Lugosi as the count.
