Join hostess with the mostess Earlene Hoople -- or as she calls herself, "The Queen of Rural Media" -- for a live "taping" of her special cable-access holiday TV special. From an embarrassing family slide-show to her "kookiest kristmas kraft kontest," a hand-bell choir made up of audience members and more, this light-hearted look at a down-home holiday show rings in the season with tongue-in-cheek style. Comic actress and TV host Marianne Curan (The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Live! with Regis) brings Earlene winningly to life in this comedy written and directed by a former writer of Seinfeld, Pat Hazell.

The Curtis is such a lovely place to see a show! We took our adult children and they loved it too. The comedy was homespun and really touching with the audience participation a hoot!! Wonderful time spent together!

Very funny and sweet but humor with a gentle bite. Commercials are a real hoot!

We saw this Holiday Play at the Brea Curtis Theater on Sunday afternoon. We were told it was sold out. It was a one woman performance and she was terrific. The story was filled with wit, wisdom, sillyness, and hilarious site gags involving the Xmas decorations on the set. A Kodachrome Xmas was a fun way to start the holiday season.
