New Jersey's own Joey "Coco" Diaz is both an actor and a comic whose credits include a bunch of popular movies, TV shows and podcasts. His stand-up career famously got off to a rough start -- he was in prison at the time. But since his release, he's appeared on the big screen in The Longest Yard, Grudge Match and Spider-Man 2, and on TV in My Name Is Earl, The Mentalist and more. He currently hosts his own popular podcast, called The Church of What's Happening Now, and is a frequent guest on The Joe Rogan Experience. Learn More
Reviews & Ratings
Having toured with Damon Wayans and D.L. Hughley as well as appearing on NBC, BET, and Comedy Central, Sadiki continues to broaden his fan base by regularly performing at prominent clubs such as The Improv in LA and the Punchline in both San Francisco and Sacramento. Sadiki has even expanded his horizons by performing at alternative venues in England, Germany, France, Japan, Korea and Afghanistan in support of the US Troops.
Sadiki’s contagious positive stage presence was molded, by becoming a finalist in the career defining San Francisco International Stand Up and Seattle International Comedy Competitions. A native Houstonian, Sadiki’s comedy reflects the city’s ever changing dynamic ability to rise above. A born entertainer, Sadiki’s destiny with humor naturalized in high school, college, and the workforce, eventually maturing into a stint as a professional mascot with the NBA’s Golden State Warriors where his tailored silly exaggerations energized the entire Bay Area Community.
Sadiki eventually progressed and turned part time humor into full-fledged comedy, all the while relocating to the entertainment capitol of Los Angeles where he currently lives and works in conjunction with touring the U.S. and abroad in support of his new Comedy Club-College Circuit Tour. Sadiki’s comedy speak of love, life, and the relationships therein, with each show organically taking its own shape. Sadiki, a star whose rise to brilliance is worth watching.
