This performance was not worth the money. Singing was really bad...almost left at intermission.Written on Mar 31 2008

The event was at a small theatre which made every seat a prime seatWritten on Mar 17 2008
The delivery and cast was great, and included some exceptional performers. I am glad I went there

The Curtis Theatre in Brea is a quaint setting and great for musical theatre. This is the first time I've been to the venue and look forward to attending future events. Matt Bartosch (Jesus), Matthew Roberts (Judas), Jamie Hartman (Mary Magdalene) and Fernando Acevedo (Caiaphas) had great voices and were the perfect cast to portray the last days of Jesus' life. Lisa Meert's choreography brought new meaning to this historic event; especially the 39 strikes under Pontius Pilates supervision.Written on Mar 24 2008

More Information About Jesus Christ Superstar
Description
This groundbreaking theatrical masterpiece exploded onto the stage in 1971, and it was clear the musical world would never be the same again. The first collaboration between the legendary writing team of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber to be performed on the professional stage, Jesus Christ Superstar is one of the most popular and enduring works ever created for the musical theatre. The powerhouse score features such notable songs as "Superstar," "Everything's Alright" and "I Don't Know How to Love Him." Both captivating and commanding, Jesus Christ Superstar earned five Tony Award nominations.
