The ballet itself was quite enjoyable but you would never expect a performing arts auditorium of that size (Lehman College on Bedford Pk. Blvd. in the Bronx) to be so ill-equipped to handle a reasonable, but not oversized crowd! For some unknown reason, there was only ONE (out of maybe ten) doors open to the auditorium at the time guests were being admitted. Once inside (which took forever), you were on your own--and had to scramble to find your seat in the dark--and the layout of seats was difficult to decipher after being admitted through a door that was nowhere near the section where seat was located. Why not allow patrons to enter through the door closest to their seat assignments, I had to wonder--and all this while the performance was already going on! People were pouring in for a full half hour before the auditorium finally settled down and the show could go on (quietly). With only about three ushers to show people to their seats in the entire balcony there was far to much commotion and confusion for the unlucky group of near-latecomers--and was unfair to those who'd arrived in time to avoid the chaos. (The "will call" booth outside the box office was equally ill-managed and understaffed--but my primary complaint was the lack of adequate staffing inside--and no programs were issued, to boot!)
