It was raining and we had to wait in line for several minutes, outside in the rain, to get to the window where we were assigned our table. The "captain's seating" is a joke since every single person there (and it was a Saturday night) got to be seated in the first three rows as the place was less than half full. They served appetizers from 7-7:45 (and stopped promptly at 7:45 despite several people in line in front of them - they just wheeled things away and left them standing there). The appetizers were mediocre finger foods, although the fruit and cheeses were better than the others.Written on Feb 09 2009
The show itself did start exactly at 8:30 and was full of energy. There was a lot of singing by the pirates and princess and it was okay. It was better when the pirates were actually doing something, as they were at least enthused about doing it. Our waitress could not have looked more bored and frankly I might have felt the same way if I was serving that food. You had a choice between chicken and beef or chicken and seafood. The chicken was a leg/thigh quarter, dry and overcooked. The beef (?) was very chewy and served in some sort of strange sauce. Apparently the seafood was in a sauce and very fishy tasting. The potatoes and vegetables were okay and what I ended up eating, as the other food was not good at all. For dessert there was an apple cobbler with ice cream that was actually pretty good. You had a choice of unlimited overly sweet cola or two glasses of wine (cheap white zin) or two glasses of beer (Budweiser).
I did not have that high of expectations for the food, having been to Medeival Times, but this meal was way below that standard (at least the Medeival Times food was edible and their vegetarian meal is pretty good). The show has a lot more action that Med. Times, but in the end it was not any more professional or fun. However, the kids in the audience seemed to enjoy it much more than the other show.
Having lived here all my life I never took the time to do our more touristy attractions so I am glad I finally got around to it. That being said, I do not feel the desire to go here ever again.

I loved the show! The acrobatics were fantastic. This isn't Pirate of the Caribbean so don't expect the pirates to be anything like that. It was just pure entertainment! The food is what you would expect a Pirate show to serve. :-) Good show for the price!Written on Jul 01 2010

Enjoyed the show very entertaining. The actors are better than most actors appearing in dinner shows. On the other hand the food left much to be desired. The beef was like stew meat that was very dry and hard and the Chicken not much better but they did give you a generous portion. You should actually get there an hour early around 7:30pm verses the 90 minutes they suggest. You will have plenty of time to get souveniers and explore the theater while you wait for the show to start. My favorite actors were the Captains wife and son. and we enjoyed the MC/Pirate who was charming and funny. Our family enjoyed the experience and would recommend others to go. Fun for everyone!Written on Feb 07 2010

The only reason im giving it 2 stars was because of the bad seats we were given at the beginning, if you go hopefully you dont get the green pirate...Written on May 09 2011

Description
Set aboard an authentically replicated 18th-century Spanish galleon measuring 46 feet long, 18 feet wide with 40-foot masts, the ship is anchored in a 250,000-gallon indoor lagoon with night sky lighting. Surrounding the lagoon is a six-sided showroom of six additional ships where the audience is seated.
In this all-new adventure, Benjamin and the crew have had many experiences in their time, but now they are about to have one in ‘our” time. Watch as two explorers from our time cross paths with time lost pirates from the past. Our explorers Freddie and Katherine find a mysterious diary and jeweled necklace that unlocks the mythical pirate ship, The Emerald Shark, that has been cursed undersea for 100 years. The explorers lead our guests to the Emerald Bay lagoon where all the action and adventure await!
