Written on Feb 19 2013lots of stars, great.speakers, lots of fun.
Written on Feb 18 2013It was so much fun! We enjoyed meeting the stars and getting autographs.
Written on Feb 18 2013The vendors were all very nice and some were quite knowledgeable. I liked Jonathan Frakes who was hilarious. However, Brent Spiner was a HUGE disappointment....after paying $40 for a really lousy autograph (he didn't even pay attention to me and signed lopsided). He also insulted me by saying "I [he] should be" after I told him he was my favorite character....needless to say I wind up cutting up the photograph when I got home. I wish this wasn't my first Star Trek convention but it was. I do not wish to meet anymore of the cast members for fear that I will wind up hating the show I grew up loving; I will cling to whatever love I have for the show and cherish the few good memories I had from my childhood where my brother and I would fight over who would be captain.
Written on Feb 18 2013This convention was great. The speakers really delivered and the atmoshphere was friendly and inviting. From talking to vendors and others there I learned more about the Star Trek series then I already knew and had a great time.
