Featuring the monster hit "This Is the Moment" -- which has been sung at the Olympics, a Super Bowl and a World Series -- the national tour of Jekyll & Hyde arrives at Ames Center. Based on Robert Louis Stevenson's classic story of science gone horribly awry, the musical follows the life of the brilliant Dr. Jekyll, whose experiments with human personality result in the creation of a monstrous alter ego, Mr. Hyde. Both Jekyll and Hyde have their eyes set on Lucy, a prostitute with a heart of gold. With a pop-rock score from multi-Grammy and Tony-nominated composer Frank Wildhorn and two-time Oscar and Grammy-winning lyricist Leslie Bricusse, Jekyll & Hyde has earned a cult following after four years on Broadway and multiple worldwide tours. EXCELLENT!!! What a talented group of singers. Loved how the music was set back in time with a story line. It was very entertaining, funny, energized, and enjoyable. Great vocals, effects, customes, props, and orchestra! Would recommend to everyone.

About the Ticket Supplier: Ames Center
The Ames Center, formerly the Burnsville Performing Arts Center is dedicated to: Fostering the growth, development and appreciation of the performing arts through the
presentation of the broadest possible range of cultural, entertainment and artistic activities and events; providing a home to the community’s major
performing arts groups; serving as a community center for the visual arts, business and educational meetings and presentations and providing
economic stimulus for the benefit of the residents of Burnsville and the surrounding region.
This mission statement, as developed by VenuWorks, suggests that the Ames Center, in order to contribute to the creation of a vital, active downtown area, must host a broad spectrum of events including local arts, regional cultural organizations, popular concerts, family shows, business meetings, social gatherings and lectures and more.
From the City of Burnsville 2030 Comprehensive Plan:
“Art and culture are increasingly recognized as integral and necessary components of our social fabric, contributing to the economy and
quality of life in cities and communities. In our increasingly mobile and diverse society, investments in culture and creativity are essential to
building vibrant, competitive and sustainable communities for the twenty first century.”
