Camarillo Community Theatre presents 110 in the Shade, a musical by the team of Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones, best known for The Fantasticks. Set in a drought-stricken town in the American Southwest, it's the story of traveling con man Bill Starbuck, who convinces the local farmers that he can provide them with much-needed rain. Meanwhile, spinster Lizzie Curry is torn between the charismatic stranger and the divorced Sheriff File.

This was an enjoyable small theater production of the RAINMAKER. It was obvious that the cast was having lots of fun.

Super Fun Community Theatre. Great singing and acting. We enjoyed it and will go back for other productions later in the season.

I have not attended many community theater shows so did not know what to expect... but I took my 6 year old daughter to a matinee and we both enjoyed the show. The cast (and musicians) did a great job. Lynetta Ivey was particularly wonderful! It's too bad there were not more people in the audience. We are planning to go again!
