In this stage adaptation of the Frank Capra film favorite, George Bailey finds himself at the end of his rope (and atop an icy bridge) one Christmas Eve. Consumed by the thought that the world would be better off if he'd never been born, George is considering ending his own life. That is, until a bumbling guardian angel by the name of Clarence comes down to Earth to show George the incredibly positive impact he's actually had on nearly everyone he knows. As synonymous with the Christmas season as eggnog, twinkling lights and piles of presents, It's a Wonderful Life is a timeless reminder of how precious life really is. Learn More

REALLY WANTED TO LOVE IT, BUT JUST DIDN'T FEEL IT.... EVEN THOUGH OTHER PEOPLE WERE LAUGHING HYSTERICALLY???? FRIENDS AND FAMILY??? MAYBE WE JUST ARE NOT IN TO THIS KIND OF COMEDY/ FARCE TYPE PRODUCTION. DISLIKED THE LIP-SINK / CANNED MUSICAL BACK UP!! IN PART I THINK WE WERE DISAPPOINTED HAVING GRAND EXPECTATIONS DUE TO THE OTHER PREVIOUS REVIEWS.... MOSTLY FIVE STARS (REALLY ?? WRITTEN BY FRIENDS AND FAMILY??). DON'T MEAN TO BE MEAN OR A SNOB.... WE THOUGHT THE ACTORS WERE ALL QUITE GOOD AND THE PLAYHOUSE/ STAFF WERE VERY NICE. THE LAST MOMENTS WERE WORTH ADMISSION. SURPRISED WHAT A LARGE THEATER IT WAS.... WHO KNEW. HOPE TO TRY ANOTHER PRODUCTION... AN OK LOCAL EVENING OUT
P.S. FRIENDS OF OURS WENT THE NIGHT BEFORE AND FELT THE SAME WAY..........

Camarillo Community Theatre presents the comical farce, Lend Me A Tenor. Written by Ken Ludwig and directed by James Castle Stevens.
The Cleveland Grand Opera Company is abuzz for the opening night performance of the world famous tenor, Tito Morelli (Mario Di Gregorio), who may or may not be dead in his dressing room. Throw in a starstruck opera fan (Mandy Nissen), an opera diva who will stop at nothing to seduce (Tosca Minotto), a general manager who needs this night to go flawlessly (Richard Large), an assistant who is hungering for his own big break (Mark Pamplin), and a large dash of mistaken identity, and you have a hilarious night of comedy that is sure to have you rolling in the aisles.
Also starring Lissa Grafton as Morelli's hot-headed wife Maria, Todd Ball as the wacky bellhop, and Kate Landro as the colorful Chairwoman of the Opera Guild.
