Your info had swing city lesson beginning at 7:30 p.m. and band beginning at 8:45 p.m. In fact, the lesson began at 8:00 p.m. and the band began after 9:30 p.m. After the hour lesson, the music continued to be recorded music until the band began. We knew to ask about having our parking ticket validated for discounted hotel parking only after checking with the hotel desk because the garage had a sign about the discount. Water was $4.50/bottle, the same as other non-alchoholic drinks, but cheese and crackers were provided. One of the instructers was very much better than the other for beginners, but they showed bits rather than putting the bits together in various ways. The instructor for the earlier workshop, which required additional $8, was better than either of the ones for the free lesson. We were not allowed to watch until the time for the workshop ran over. The rating I gave is primarily based on the misinformation in the Gold Star information.

A wonderful evening that included a beginner's demonstration, an opportunity to watch the instructors showcase their talents, and an evenin of dancing to a fantastic live band.
