Two of the funniest improv comedians working today are taking the stage together at Balboa Theatre, and you can participate in the show. Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood are best known as cast members of the British and U.S. versions of the popular improv show Whose Line Is It Anyway? These two comedy pros show you how it's done in a show entirely driven by audience participation. Audience members yell out suggestions and Mochrie and Sherwood will run with it, creating hilarious scenes made up on the spot. Throughout the show, audience members are brought up on stage to add an extra element of the unexpected. Whether you're in your seat or find yourself on the stage, the comedians will make it funny -- all you have to do is have fun. Learn More

In 4 years when comedian Taylor Williamson returns to Torrey Pines High School for his 10-year reunion, he won’t have to explain what he’s been up to because most of his classmates will already know. The Del Mar native has established himself as one of the brightest up and coming comedians in the country. The local funnyman started his comedy career as a senior in high school. In the very few years since then, he has amassed a very impressive comedy resume: he's been a semi‐finalist on the most recent season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, made two appearances on CBS’ Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and an appearance on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham.
Appearing with Williamson will be veteran comedian Lamont Ferguson, who many North County residents know as the creator/producer of the West Coast Funnies; the monthly comedy variety show that has enjoyed an 8-year run in Carlsbad. Ferguson, who grew up in the East County and now lives in Los Angeles, has been seen on Comedy Central and The Tonight Show, and has been the opening act for Bill Cosby, the late George Carlin, Steve Harvey, Garry Shandling and Larry Miller.
The show will be hosted by another North County native funnyman now living in Los Angeles: Matt Balaker. Matt grew up in Carlsbad, attended Carlsbad High School and has been seen on Late Night with Conan O’Brien.
