First time in quaint Billage of Carlsbad! We ate at Blue Ocean Sushi & it was gourmet sushi at good price. Ample parking everywhere for free. Went on a Wed.

The theatre got a little warm during the show, probably due to all of the hysterical laughing of the audience! Dress accordingly.

A very talented ensemble cast that held the audience captive. I thoroughly enjoyed this dramatic, emotional performance.

Every actor was fantastic in his and her roles. They created a very emotional experience for me. The casual and Intimate theatre makes it very comfortable and gives one a feeling of being part of the story.

Description

This great American story comes to life in the intimate NVA space.  Jem and Scout witness their small Southern community become consumed by the hostilities of a prejudicial trial. Featuring NVA Ensemble Member Manny Fernandes and narrated by Kristianne Kurner as Jean Louise Finch – “Scout” – as an adult.
