Parking is easy on the street or at the coaster station which is half a block away. Bring a light wrap since the venue seems to be at about 66F despite of outside warmer temperature.

Take your walking shoes so you can go for a walk on the boardwalk afterwards. The theater is a block from the beach!

We had about 45 minutes before the play to grab something to eat. The Cantina across the street was quick, service and food was good. Casual bar environment.

Moving performances from the child actors. True to the book, excellent acting, long at 2-1/2 hours. Walked there after dinner in the bar at Paon. Best burgers and wine list in town. Fun evening!

Description

This great American story comes to life in the intimate NVA space.  Jem and Scout witness their small Southern community become consumed by the hostilities of a prejudicial trial. Featuring NVA Ensemble Member Manny Fernandes and narrated by Kristianne Kurner as Jean Louise Finch – “Scout” – as an adult.
