Chanticleers Theatre Presents The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

Full Price:
$24.00
Our Price:
$12.00

The quirky world of middle-school spelling competitions takes center stage in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, a hilarious, Tony Award-winning musical about six awkward would-be spelling champions and their even less well-adjusted parents. Staged by award-winning director Sue Ellen Nelsen, Chanticleers Theatre's new production of this Broadway hit features a delightful cast and loads of laughs, as the musical numbers and polysyllabic words fly. Who will win -- and who will learn the valuable lesson that winning isn't everything? And can you use "capybara" in a sentence? The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee spells fun for all (though some mild references to adult topics may not be appropriate for very young audience members). Learn More

This play is delightful. Prepare for lots of laughter, perhaps a few tears, and lots of twists and turns in the story. You will find lots of surprises as you follow the lives of 5 girlfriends over the years. The actresses do a wonderful job! You'll walk away with lots to talk about!
