This was my first visit. The crowd were enormous and it was often difficult to get near an exbit or talk to the proprietor. There was a lot of sameness of product. More specialty designers like Bora would have been welcomed. I had not done any homework, so did not know the relative prices or quality, but my companion is more knowledgeable and advised that the prices were indeed mostly very good. The best part was getting an education about a particular stone in which I was interested -- by an upscale African-based jeweler.

Excellent place to go to shop for jewelry. Tons of merchants so fantastic array of choices and availability to negotiate best price. Prices much lower than going to local jewelers/jewelry stores. Staff very nice.
Don't accept first price - they price it higher expecting you to negotiate.
Very worthwhile event. They have other items as well, as handbags, perfume, etc. but mainly jewelry. Lots of gorgeous costume jewelry, too.

The show was nice. However, some of the vendors were the most rude people I have ever met in my life. It may be a good idea to have someone in charge of this event to make sure the vendors understand its the customers who make their businesses successful and the words "THANK YOU" go a long way. That was the opnly bad thing about the show was the rudeness. The selection of items was great.
