I went to this event with an open mind...and ready to learn some new salsa moves. In part due to the venue (bright lighting and stark decor), it just didn't feel like a fun place to learn how to dance nor did it feel like a party. I didn't feel welcomed by the leaders of the event. While it was nice that there was some food, it was pretty bad - just unappetizing looking and flavorless snacks (a creamy white and pink crab dip was too scary to try). Mostly, I just think the teachers should have engaged the students more to make it a more comfortable atmosphere. Finally, to be fair, I must say that I arrived a bit late, so, perhaps I missed some important welcoming or lessons.
The Knights was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works.
