A third generation member of music's great Valdes family, Chuchito Valdes will give a solo piano concert and lecture on the history of Afro-Cuban Jazz piano and the legacy of his family's role on the genre. The program will be in Spanish (translated into English), and will be enjoyed by both music students and fans of all ages.
