Come out and help the Chicago Sky hit a new high this season, as they begin their playoff run to the championship against the league's best teams. The game experience itself offers plenty of fun and excitement, with every seat offering stellar views of the fast and furious action on the court. Led by the electric 2013 WNBA Rookie of the Year Elena Delle Donne and Defensive Player of the Year Sylvia Fowles, the Sky earned their first trip to the tournament in franchise history last year, and look to go all the way in 2014 -- with help from their hometown crowd, of course. I love this method of story telling. You need to advise that along w/water and comfortable shoes, a blanket or chair is useful. It was a bit difficult to hear in spots. The production was very creative and easy to interpret if you know the story. Perhaps a synopsis would be helpful although I understand the paperless issue. Will be back for the October production.
Run time of play is 90 minutes, with the hikes in between scenes. The show should be no more than 2 hours 30 minutes.
Please bring your own water. Theatre-Hikes also suggests bringing a picnic or snacks along for the hike. Wear comfortable hiking shoes or boots (avoid open toe shoes and flip-flops).
About the Ticket Supplier: Theatre-HikesTheatre-Hikes - "presenting stories that move you since 2001"
We perform family friendly productions outdoors with scenes separated by short hikes. Each show contains a hike around 2 miles separated by 3-10 scenes.
The specific purposes for which Theatre-Hikes is formed are for establishing and maintaining theatrical performances combined with hiking, offering an event that travels to various locations; and as most performing will be outdoors, Theatre-Hikes hopes to nurture in the public, a respect for the preservation of hiking trails and the local, city, county, state and national parks where these trails can be found. Theatre-Hikes will seek to involve diverse populations in its staff, board members, volunteers and audiences. It will have a strong commitment to use actors who are members of Actors' Equity Association (AEA), the union of professional actors and stage managers. Theatre-Hikes will compensate all staff and actors who are not members of AEA.
