    <p>Chicago’s leader in presenting American and Chicago and premieres including such recent hits as Hunchback of Notre Dame by Dennis DeYoung, off-Broadway hits like Bare and Zanna, Don't, and award-winning world premiere musicals like Dr. Sex -- is proud to continue that tradition into the 2008-2009 season with the Chicago Premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber's one woman musical Tell Me on a Sunday.</p> <p>Tell Me on a Sunday is a re-working of the song-cycle portion of 1980's West End hit Song and Dance which tells the story of British transplant Emma -- a fierce 30 year old hat designer determined to find love and success under the bright lights of New York City. Told entirely from Emma's perspective, we follow her through heartbreaks, triumphs and discoveries of all that urban single life has to offer.  Loaded with songs that have become such as Unexpected Song, Take That Look Off Your Face, and the title song Tell Me On A Sunday, this show is also a glimpse into the song-writing genius that is Andrew Lloyd Weber.</p> <p>Artistic Associates Elisa Woodruff and Kate Garassino team up as Director and Producer respectively.  They are joined by Jeff Award Winning Musical Director of Cabaret Joshua Stephen Kartes.  Stage Management is by Jay Kennedy, Production Coordination by Deanna Cox, Costumes by Jeff Jones.  Woodruff has directed at several Chicago theaters, including Bailiwick’s Jeff Recommended premiere of Zanna, Don't in 2007. </p> <p>Chicago theater veteran Harmony France stars as the defiant and beautiful Emma.  Most recently seen at the Bailiwick as Xandra in the American Premiere of Jerry Springer The Opera and artistic director of Blue Moon Studio Theater, Harmony brings an intelligence and warmth to the character of Emma.</p>
