In D. M. Larson's modern-day update of Charles Dickens' timeless holiday tale, a successful female restaurateur named Ebony Scrooge seems to have lost her Christmas spirit. After mistreating those around her -- including her family -- she's visited by the ghost of her former partner, not to mention those of holidays past, present and future, who melt her heart and help her rediscover the true joy of giving. This production, directed by Boaz McGee, features choreography by Premier One Dance Academy. Learn More

after reading a few reviews i started not to go,but boy am i glad i did.this was a great performance the young lady who played annie had a great voice, drake was unforgetable, the young lady who played st.morris was fabulous and the darling who played molly was so lovable, but the entire crew was great. my only problem way i wanted more, so i guess i'll have to go back. true the box office could use a tune-up but the theatre has a great view from every seat. i would not take my stuck-up opera friends but for regular folks grab a ticket and get ready for a great time. Harold Washington Cultural Center thank you one and all for a great production and the great work you guys are doing. i will be back and am telling friends, oh yeah i forgot valet parking only $10
This show's running time is two hours and 30 minutes hours, with one intermission.
