Porchlight Music Theatre presents Pal Joey. Rodgers and Hart's much-loved musical, set in 1930s Chicago, tells the story of an ambitious and scheming song-and-dance man who'll do anything to realize his dream of owning his own nightclub, including trying to juggle his relationships with his naive girlfriend and a wealthy, married older woman with the means to help set him up in business. He gets a taste of his own medicine when a young punk threatens to shake him down. This groundbreaking, hard-as-nails classic features one of the greatest American musical scores including "I Could Write a Book," "You Mustn't Kick it Around," "Zip" and "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered."
