Chicago is ordinarily such a picturesque city that it becomes truly extraordinary when it's dressed up with holiday lights. This unique holiday experience combines a fun and informative walking tour of the city's history with an entertaining bus tour showcasing Chicago's festival of lights. The walking portion of the three-and-a-half-hour guided tour takes place from the comfort of part of Chicago's Pedway, the city's six-mile indoor heated walkway. After wrapping up the walk at Macy's legendary Walnut Room, you'll board a bus for the last hour of the tour, visiting State Street, the Daley Plaza Christmas Tree, "Christkindlmarket," the Palmer House Hilton, the Water Tower and the heralded Drake Hotel. The bus then traverses the world-famous Magnificent Mile on its way back to the East Wacker starting location. All tours include a holiday trivia contest and ugly Christmas sweater competition, with prizes. Learn More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the River Walk tour. The guide was very informative and frequently engaged the guest with entertaining true/false statements about things along the way. I would highly recommend this tour to visitors as well as locals.
Gratuity is not included in the ticket price, but is suggested if you enjoy the tour.
