Chicago Samba is under the direction of Moacyr Marchini, a native of Brazil, who has been playing in the Chicago area for over 16 years. The seven-piece band, plays the most authentic Brazilian dance music in the Midwest including Samba, Bossa Nova, Olodum, Forro, Choro, Pagode and Batucada.
