Fun event to take my visiting parents to. The seats are high up, but Cellular Field has escalators which make getting up to the nose-bleeds much easier than other stadiums. The view from the "Goldstar" area is really decent - you can see all the action. The after game fireworks were a great way to end the night. It takes a little while to get into the parking lot, which was $23, but it wasn't a horribly long wait - just have some patience and your money ready. It didn't take very long to get out after the game either.
The couple times I've been to watch the Sox, I've found the crowd more family-oriented than crazy-party guy oriented. I'm not saying there aren't any crazy party guys there, it just doesn't seem as in-your-face as sometimes Cubs games can feel like.
The Chicago White Sox present Fireworks Nights. Watch as Paul Konerko, Alex Rios and the Sox take on some of baseball's best teams, then stick around for a spectacular post-game fireworks display over U.S. Cellular Field.
