Written on Jun 12 2012The local chicago stand up comedians were great! Rob Riggle however my group and I found to be not very original and not overly funny.
Written on Jun 12 2012The venue was very nice; food and drinks served at tableside during the show. Riggle resorted to lots of scatalogical humor-too much, imo. This might have been funny if I was an adolescent male.
His story about himself as an adolescent with a crush on his next-door-neighbor was funny.
Written on Jun 11 2012Rob is one funny hi energy comedian. Great late nite raunchy fun!
Written on Jun 11 2012For much of the set, I thought Riggle lost the balance between humor and raunchy---totally tasteless.

Rob Riggle has been a staple in comedic films for over 15 years. Most recently, he was in 21 Jump Street, playing a passionate high school gym teacher opposite Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. Riggle can also be seen in the upcoming drama Big Miracle opposite Drew Barrymore, John Krasinski and Kristen Bell. He also lends his vocal talents in the much anticipated film The Lorax, adapted from the beloved Dr. Suess book. He plays the misguided yet charismatic villain, O’Hare. The Lorax opened at number one at the box office and stayed on top for another week, only to get bumped down by Rob’s other film, 21 Jump Street.
Riggle is known for his memorable characters in comedy hits like The Hangover, where he played Officer Franklin, one of the cops who gets his vengeance on the groomsmen after they steal his patrol car. He is also known for his four year stint as a correspondent on the multiple Emmy Award-winning show, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. He has appeared in comedy classics such as Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Step Brothers and The Other Guys, along with Going the Distance and Larry Crowne opposite Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts.

While Rob has made audiences around the world laugh with his comedic talents, he also has served as a member of the United States Marine Corps. Initially joining the Marine Corps at the age of 19 in 1990, Rob rose through the ranks and has served in various countries including Albania, Liberia, and Afghanistan. Major Riggle is still a member of the Marine Corps Reserves today. He has served 22 years total, 9 years active duty, 13 years in the reserves. In April of 2009 Major Riggle was selected for promotion to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
