Sample six of Samuel Beckett's shorter works in an exceptional theatrical experience where you and the characters in the plays will share the same space. Six actors will assume multiple roles in Hellish Half-Light, which includes Castastrophe, Come and Go, Play, Rough for Theater I, Rough for Theater II and What Where. One of his most enigmatic works, What Where centers on an interrogator who engages in self-reflection by directing a memory to perform. A man, his wife and his mistress are imprisoned in urns and interrogated by a hellish half-light in the sparse Play. Mary-Arrchie Theatre's production offers a rare chance to immerse in the work of the great Irish playwright. Learn More

Good production depicting the classic novel.
But putting all those pages into 90 minutes
makes for a somewhat depressing plot
whereas I found the book stimulating and
captivating. The detective was easy
going and entrapping but somehow
did not seem like a detective to me. The
actor who played the main character did
an excellent job depicting the character tortured
by guilt. The plot seemed very much true to the book.
