I thought all of the performers did a great job on such a hot day. The costumes were colorful as expected and the singing was fantastic.

Great dancing! But the sound at the venue wasn't the best...

Everything was wheelchair acessible.
We had a lot of fun dancing and singing.
If they come back to Chicago. I go again if they came back.

Great Show with high energy

We had a great time. Music was fun and the cast worked so hard to entertain!

The singing was fantastic many costume changes very entertaining, The dancing was good. Every seat is good no need to get close in fact I think the choregraphy would be better to see form a distance I was close up so I saw the dancing mistakes. Great intereaction with the audience getting people to stand up and dance. The Pavilion offers a opportunity to meet the entertainers.

Not what I expected. Some vocals were tolerable , but the dancing was just plain miserable.

Great fun - now my daughter found out about it and wanted to go, so I'm hoping for some future performances.

Thought this was great, very entertaining with everyone in the audience dancing by the end, parking just east of the event was $8.00. The venue is great with a view of the Chicago river, cool place to see a show!

There is a lot of good singing and good dancing. I wish the audience would have participated a little more.

It was certainly not a Broadway production. The music was good but the dancers needed some work. Everyone in my party enjoyed it but we agree we have seen better productions.

A most wonderful and lively event. Worth every penny and the time. It was truly amazing, although not vegas style for sure, it was full of energy and great musical numbers. Dancers had incredible energy and great customs, a great value.

Overall entertaining. 4 main singers were good. Some of the dancers were very entertaining. Some of the dancers struggled to keep up.

The dancers were very professional, energetic and entertaining.
We loved the venue, it was in a tent along the river. The tent was air-conditioned and seating was comfortable. Seemed like every seat had a good view. We look forward to attending future performances.

the energy of the dancers and singers was great. i would have liked more scenery. it was to simple and did not add to the show.

Ok, if you know what you're getting.

It's a revue, so wall-to-wall music, no storyline. You certainly get your ABBA fix, but also know that you get other 70s/Disco hits. That shouldn't be a problem for anyone going to see ABBA. However, they also do a good block of 60s soul and Motown songs. I'm a white guy who wasn't even alive in the 60s, and I found giving this cast those songs rather laughable. I don't know how you put on a show in Chicago, singing Sam & Dave, with a cast that's whiter than a Klan rally posing in front of a movie screen during a snow storm. Sorry, didn't feel the soul, there. The dancing is good and there are so many costume changes that I feel the real show might be happening in the wings. Overall, the revue felt cruise shiptastic, or what I assume Branson is like, but the audience attending seemed to connect with that feel, so maybe I'm not their target audience.

2nd time to go! Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! Loved the lights, music, dancing, costumes and singing along! We knew every song! Can not wait to see the other events at Riverfront Theater! We are going to attend everyone of them! This was a definate crowd pleaser!

The show had great energy and excited the crowd. They played more than ABBA and covered the disco arera, Loved it.

9 of us attended and we loved this show! The performers were beautiful with beautiful smiles, great dancing, awesome voices and lots of costume changes. We had orchestra center which were good but I think the best seats are the ones in the section right behind that area because they are raised and graduated so you can see better.

Excellent performance!!! The singers and dancers were terrific! Gret venue too! Parking was close by and reasonably priced!

Good high energy show!

Talented dancers & vocalists provided an enjoyable evening of musical entertainment. Had a slow start, but improved in time, esp. when performers mingled into the crowd. Its description as being a "musical" is misleading. It's choreographed dancing to and singing of ABBA's, along with other artists', songs. Similar to cruise line entertainment.

w purchased tickets for the side orchestra and you get your seats at the box office the day of event and we were seated in the eight row,everything about this was great,music had everyone out of thier seats,feel good musical.you'll love it!

Our group of seven women had a great girls night out. We started off at The Motel Bar for drinks and dinner which was quite an enjoyable experience, as we dined in the outdoor area. Then we were off to the theater just around the corner. The venue was actually very comfortable. We loved the singing and dancing from a group of very hardworking, young professional entertainers. I would recommend the show for anyone interested in a night of fun and especially to those who lived through this era.

However, I am very displeased with the way Goldstar handled their ticket prices. We paid the same amount that the Riverfront Theater was charging. When I asked for a partial refund from Goldstar, they declined my request saying they weren't "at liberty" to do so. I found this response to be quite unacceptable and will be leary of Goldstar practices.

An enjoyable way to pass time if you like music from that time period. Seats were uncomfortable (a bench).

Some three and four part harmonies were off-key. Audio was not optimized for female singers who seemed to be screaming at the audience. On the positive side, the show was entertaining, the singers and dancers were proficient. It would have been nice to see a live orchestra. I would give this show 3 out of 4 stars, well worth the discounted tickets that are available for the show.

Very nice show. Music of ABBA is incredible. We had a very good time.

From a production quality standpoint this show is just above community theatre. It is a prepackaged deal from Spirit Productions (look them up) and my disappointment lies in the packaging and pricing to make it look like it is a mainstage bigtime production. That being said, I DO like community theatre, and from that standpoint I enjoyed it...except for this part of my mind that kept going back to "they are charging how much?" and "This doesn't look quite like the promo video." The ensemble (you don't really know who they are, there is no program or bio sheet or anything to tell you who is performing) gives their all, but the choreography is a bit off at times and there are just a few too many of those "no lyrics music interlude" moments in the precanned music that they have no choice but to move around a bit til they can start singing again. It is high energy but on a bland stage with a solitary sparkling backdrop. Very Vegas or Cruise Ship as previous reviews have noted. You will enjoy it more if you go with zero expectations. One of my guests who it ultimately was purchased for loved it for what it was...so that's all fine with me. Side note: The staff at Riverfront Theater is wonderful and absolutely accommodating. Thumbs up to them.

Far from profesisional quality dancers. It is not a musical. It is music with dancing. The singers were good.

Great show !!!

The talent was amazing - the costumes great - sad to see such a poor turnout. However, we were unable to enjoy the first half - there was an very cold air fan blowing us away (we were not the only ones affected). Asked management to turn it down - they could not?? We moved to a back row where the fans could not reach. But... then we were offered seats in the center front, which were great. I do not think that I could have endured the second act with those fans blowing. This would seriously make us think twice about attending an event at the Riverfront Theater again.

The music was fun. The dancing and choreography was average; what I would expect at a college level show. Not something I would recommend for a great show, but nice for a fun afternoon. The venue workers were extremely nice to everyone!

We were disappointed in the quality of the production. While the troupe was good looking, with multiple costume changes and a great sound system, something was 'amiss'. It looked like a dance recital! What could have been a great Broadway take off looked like a high school musical.

I was a little nervous when the performance started. The performers did not seem to be into it and the production started out very cruise ship show like. As the performers started to warm up, the show became more enjoyable. The singers and dancers ware very good and energetic. By the end of the show all four of us who attened enjoyed the performance.

My wife and I and our two friends loved every minute of it. The singing, dancing, costumes were great.
We highly recommend it. I even bought two tickets for my daughter for next Sunday

This was a very low rate performance. Not worth the discounted ticket price.

Slow start but grate fun

The singers were great and the dancing was a lot of fun. There were a lot of non-ABBA songs, but it kept with the "disco" theme.

Overall we liked the show. The lead singer/performers were uniformly excellent - very strong voices, high energy. What was not so terrific was the choreography. The first 4-5 pieces were embarrassing. Got better after that, but way too much of a chorus line feel, like we were in Vegas, or on a cruise boat.... If anything, too many dancers. And, too many dances, period. Sometimes songs by themselves work well. I'd have cut the number of dancers in half, and added a live band.

Loved the show very entertaining for both my husband and l , great show a must see

Really enjoyed the show! Seats are a bit uncomfortable but the performance made up for this as it makes you want to get up and dance!

High Energy and fun

Fabulous small theater! Loved it! Had the last top seats in the center far back and it was the best seats in the house! Going back again! Music was great! From all different 70's groups, dance music, people were dancing in the isles, singing along! Could not have been better! This is the show to see!

Lively and "fun" performance by a most energetic troupe of dancers and singers. Abundance of colorful and vibrant costume changes. Voices were great. Dancers could sharpen up their routines.

Not all Abba music, pretty amateur production and very cheesy - pretty fun but would have liked more abba and less motown and other smaltz.
