One of Shakespeare's greatest works, The Tempest is brought to life in a brand-new way by the Suitcase Shakespeare Company using puppetry, mask, movement and music. It's a magical story about the transformative power of forgiveness and the bond between parent and child. It follows the adventures of Prospero, an exiled duke who lives as the master of an enchanted isle where fantastical creatures, mystery, music and romance abound. A shipwreck delivers Prospero's enemies to the island, and the plot thickens when his beloved daughter falls for the enemy's son. Learn More

A surprisingly good play, well written and very well acted. Two person plays portend being limited, but the pain portrayed in these two desperate lives does not get tiring. The hope instilled by the female lead falters as she sinks back into her intense self-loathing. But the desire for connection that she awakens in the more desperate male inspires him to pull her back. His insight is a little unbelievable at times, but both characters acting is so truthful that it is forgiven.
This is a sleeper!!!
