Spam Allstars are currently recording their 5th album – electrodomesticos - to be released in 3rd quarter of 2006 on Spamusica Records. They have released four previous releases to date: Spam Allstars Contra Los Roboticos Mutantes(2004); Fuacata Live!(2002)[nominated for a Latin Grammy]; Pigs in Space(2000); Pork Scratchings(1999), and two vinyl releases - vinyl #1 & vinyl #2. Each of these titles have been released in the US independently on Spamusica Records. In addition Fuacata Live is available in Japan on Amsys Records(2004), and in the UK and France on Spamusica Records(2005) and distributed by New Note and Moradisc respectively.
Spam Allstars over the years have recorded and performed with some amazing talent. In 2004 they were honored to collaborate and tour with Page McConnell's side project - Vida Blue. Vida Blues' Illustrated Band featured Page McConnell (Phish), Oteil Burbridge (Allman Brothers Band/Aquarium Rescue Unit) and Russell Batiste (the Funky Meters). The two bands recorded and toured together in 2004, as a 10 piece ensemble. A DVD of the Fillmore Concert in San Francisco was released in November 2004 world-wide.
Today Spam Allstars continue on with their non-stop touring, and sharing their version of electronic funk with as many people who care to listen.
