In this powerful drama, the ultimate confrontation between two mothers in South Side Chicago comes as part of the aftermath of a tragic murder. Loosely based on actual events, The Gospel of Lovingkindness tells the story of a young man murdered for a new pair of shoes. His mother, Mary, struggles to put her life back together after his death, only to encounter the mother of his killer. This poetic and potent story examines the too-true reality of a community defined by class, race, gang violence and the church. Learn More

Very good show -- kids had a blast, parents had a blast too. Funny, entertaining, lively - everything you'd want to keep the kids preoccupied. And enough adult-relevant wink-nods to keep the parents interested. Highly recommended for the family.

CCT is bringing everyone's favorite bedtime book vibrantly alive on stage in a full-length new musical. Watch as Bunny's room magically comes alive as he dances and sings his way to sweet dreams through nursery rhyme scenes with dancing bears with chairs, the Cat and the Fiddle, the Cow Jumping Over the Moon and even a trip through the night sky with dancing constellations.
This show is recommende for ages 3 through 8, and runs 60 minutes with no intermission.
