If you are going to experience the Gorilla Tango Theatre, I would definitely recommend eating at Silom 12. It is a trendy Thai restaurant walking distance from the theatre. Delicious and reasonable priced meal. For a party of 5, our bill was under $100.The Empire Brings Sexy Back dining • Mar 17 2014 star this tip starred

I was disappointed. My boyfriend and I went to Gorilla Tango to celebrate New Year's. I've been to burlesque shows before, but this was something different (maybe this is just different from what I am accustomed).
The review was eight girls, who mostly danced one at a time for a couple of minutes. It was an intimate theatre with a small stage; this didn't bother me until the performances proved to match the small theme with their simplicity.
I thought since this was a New Year's celebration, it was going to be excellent. It was mediocre. There were a couple of routines that were actually good, but most of them were girls wandering around on stage for two minutes at a time. I give credit to the two girls dressed up as Mario and Luigi; they were hilarious. Also, the spider and web routine was great. The girl dressed up as a dwarf seemed like she was drunk at the end of the show.
I would have loved to have seen more group numbers, more dancing and more wow. It was okay, but there are a lot better shows out there.
