Inspired by the hit DreamWorks Animation film featuring the unlikely friendship between a young Viking named Hiccup and his dragon Toothless, a new epic, state-of-the-art arena adventure roars to life on stage with help from the creators of the show Walking With Dinosaurs. Life-sized fire-shooting, smoke-breathing dragons with 40-foot wingspans, up to 50 feet in length and a towering 20 feet high take flight over the audience as they battle with a band of brave warriors, including Hiccup's friend Astrid and his dad Stoick. Already a hit in Australia, this cutting-edge production stars world-class martial artists and acrobats, who interact seamlessly with a large-scale immersive projection screen and a literally large cast of animatronic creatures, creating a true 21st-century visual spectacular for the whole family.

Big production that didn't work well in such a large venue. Hard to hear and follow the plot from 300 level. Glad to have seen the movie to know what was going on. Gymnastics were fun, but only closer seats could get full impact of facial expressions and dragon effects. Our 7&9 year olds thought it was OK, but we grown-ups were disappointed.
