Description

Kevin Coval, recently featured on the cover of the Chicago Tribune Sunday Magazine and named one of Chicago’s most eligible singles by Chicago Magazine, will perform selected poems from his new book, Everyday People. Teen performers from Louder Than A Bomb will perform with Coval, and both nights will be followed by talk-backs and post-show receptions featuring the Tim Lincoln Trio.
p. Kevin Coval’s Everyday People is presented as part of Victory Gardens’ new Fresh Squeezed series, a series of late night shows, out-of-the-box performances and edgy social events targeting younger, cutlurally adventurous audiences. The July 31 reading will be hosted by Natalie Moore of Chicago Public Radio, and the August 1 talk-back will be moderated by Chicago Tribune’s Rick Kogan.
