I surprised my significant other with these tickets, as he is totally a fan of Devin the Dude! We REALLY enjoyed the show, the DJ was awesome at keeping the crowd entertained in-between performances and the much long anticipated stage appearance of the star! Our waitress was VERY courteous, helpful, attentive, & provided very good service! I had visited this venue previously and would definitely return!! :)
December 6, 2013: The David Mayfield Parade, Al Scorch & The Country Soul Ensemble
Grammy-nominated musician and producer David Mayfield is a force of nature on stage. His energy and 'out and out' enthusiasm for performing are evident at every show from clubs to major festivals to opening for The Avett Brothers. Grafting literate, character-driven song craft and Mid-American roots with a post-punk DIY attitude, Chicago-based songwriter, performer and instrumentalist Al Scorch charts a new musical topography with a five-string banjo.
December 7, 2013: Volbeat, Anthrax, Korn Tributes
Volbeat tribute band Outlaw Gentlemen perform with Among the Living (Anthrax) and Freak on a Leash (Korn).
December 14, 2013: Turquoise Jeep
Like many other visionary artists, founders Flynt Flossy and Whatchyamacallit felt industry boundaries were stifling their creativity. This encouraged them to combine their own talents with other like-minded friends and create their own label/ genre of music, EMB (Existing Musical Beings). Turquoise Jeep Records is the definition of complete artistic freedom with no limitations. Their videos on Youtube accumulated millions of views and began their international notoriety. Opening Bands: Cryss Stress (hip-hop), Step Rockets (psychedilic indie rockers) and Free Agents (hip-hop).
December 16, 2013: Drag the River
The alt-country band from Fort Collins, Colorado is joined by singer-songwriter Cory Branan and Death and Memphis.
January 11, 2014: Kashmir -- The Led Zeppelin Show
Kashmir seeks to re-create the experience of a '70s Zeppelin show utilizing authentic vintage stage gear, costumes, and special effects, with great attention to detail in a non pretentious way. But most importantly, Kashmir does not take liberties on improving the music. Led Zeppelin should be played as it was using only the equipment of the era, and should be reproduced dead on with great respect and admiration. "It's not about us, it's about Led Zeppelin." They perform Led Zeppelin's entire catalog including the classic movie, The Song Remains The Same.
January 15, 2014: Terrapin Flyer Featuring Melvin Seals, Mark Karan (Ratdog), and JP Nowak & Wavy Dave of Cornmeal
Terrapin Flyer began in 1999 as the house band for the Sunday Grateful Dead Jam at the Boulevard Cafe in Chicago. Through the many associations developed there and many that have continued since, the band has grown into one of the premier Grateful Dead inspired touring acts in the nation.
January 31, 2014: Echoes of Pompeii -- Pink Floyd Tribute
The national touring Pink Floyd tribute band from the Chicagoland area delivers a true replication of a Pink Floyd concert. Echoes of Pompeii have an amazing laser/light and video show, complete with many of the stage props that their heroes are known for while backed by an experienced management, light and sound crew. They play all the favorite Pink Floyd hits that everyone knows and loves and have showcased entire albums from start to finish, demonstrating remarkable musicianship on stage.
