Whether you are sharing this special weekend with a loved one, friends, family or simply treating yourself to something spectacular, River North Dance Chicago's special Valentine's engagement is sure to entertain and thrill. The critically acclaimed company is renowned for their athletic, sensual and dynamic repertoire and Love Is... highlights the grace and skill of RNDC dancers. The program features Contact-Me, a world premiere by Mauro Astolfi, Artistic Director of Italy's Spellbound Dance Company. Astolfi's athletic, emotive and contemporary style is illustrated in this new work. A second world premiere partners original choreography with heralded conductor, classical pianist and Artistic Director of the Chicago Children's Choir, Josephine Lee. The Good Goodbyes is comprised of three movements designed for five women and two men. In addition to these two new pieces, the performance will also include selections from RNDC's acclaimed repertoire.
