I have to be honest here. I have never left a show or movie or sporting event before it was over---until I saw this play. I left at intermission because I was spending more time watching the audience fall asleep than the play.
The cast was very enthusiastic, but they had nothing to work with from the script. Why the Adam and Eve story? And then back to his running for office? Was this about Mark Twain's writings or about his life? Overall, I was utterly confused and disappointed.
