A moving adaptation of the classic Christmas film. Santa will be available to greet children after each performance.
Theatre Building Chicago celebrates its 29th season as an incubator to develop original musical works and to support both acclaimed and emerging theatre companies and artists. Each year, Theatre Building Chicago provides space and services to more than a thousand artists in 16 presentations and 315 special events. Unique in the country, Theatre Building Chicago conducts a musical theatre writers' workshop and presentation program that has premiered 114 new musicals in Chicago and seen a number of them soar into other productions on Broadway and across the country. Theatre Building Chicago offers up-and-coming theatre professionals the opportunity to break into the field Chicago-style, through hands-on internships. Their interns have gone on to careers at institutions both here and abroad, such as Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, the Royal Albert Hall in London, The Second City-Chicago and the Theatro Lirico Sperimentale in Spoleto, Italy. Theatre Building Chicago serves as a forum for a variety of important community and civic events. People have voted, married and memorialized every kind of life event at Theatre Building Chicago.
