A moving adaptation of the classic Christmas film. When a white-bearded gentleman claims to be the real Santa Claus, he brings about a genuine "Miracle on 34th Street," spreading a wave of love throughout New York City, convincing a cynical divorced single mother, her somber daughter, and the entire state of New York that Santa Claus is no myth. Santa will be available to greet children after each performance.

Each year, Theatre Building Chicago provides space and services to more than a thousand artists in 16 presentations and 315 special events. Since opening its doors on March 15, 1977, Theatre Building Chicago, Chicago's very own theatrical crossroads, has hosted more than 753 plays, 459 theatre companies, 1,037,024 audience members, 8,715 events with 23,850 performances, and 28,724 actors, designers, directors and other theatre artists.
Unique in the country, Theatre Building Chicago conducts a musical theatre writers' workshop and presentation program that has premiered 114 new musicals in Chicago and seen a number of them soar into other productions on Broadway and across the country. Theatre Building Chicago offers up-and-coming theatre professionals the opportunity to break into the field Chicago-style, through hands-on internships. Their interns have gone on to careers at institutions both here and abroad, such as Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, the Royal Albert Hall in London, The Second City-Chicago and the Theatro Lirico Sperimentale in Spoleto, Italy.
