Direct from New York comes the comedy inspired by the Old Jews Telling Jokes website. Created by Peter Gethers and Daniel Okrent, the show features five actors performing a mix of monologues and songs that lovingly honor the timeless tradition of Jewish comedy by poking fun at it. Hilarious neuroses and tributes to comedy giants are put on full display. If you don't laugh you're probably dead -- even if you've never had a Jewish mother, visited a doctor or walked into a bar with a priest, a rabbi and a frog. Learn More

I went to this event thinking it was something like "Do patten leather shoes really reflect up" and it's not. It was a cute play about a mother superior trying to put on a Christmas pageant. There were some colorful moments but still very acceptable for families to attend. There was a lot of audience participation which was nice and the space was warm and comfortable. The ability of the actress to ad lib based on audience actions/comments was good. Overall, it's not a belly-ache laugh sort of play but a nice evening out and highly appropriate for families.
