This show was absolutely fantastic! I couldn't stop laughing. The three drag queens were a riot, especially the one playing Colonel Pickering!!! They need to bring this show back.Written on Dec 15 2008

This show was absolutely fantastic! I loved the venue and atmosphere. We laughed so hard and really enjoyed the sing-a-long songs! Even though having watched My Fair Lady many times, I was still a bit teary at the end. I'm REALLY looking forward to their next musical production.Written on Dec 15 2008

More Information About My Fair Lady
Description

The event will be a refreshing opportunity for the About Face community of theatre-goers and party lovers alike to attend a holiday event unlike all the others. This concert version of “My Fair Lady,” is conceived and directed by About Face Managing Director Rick Dildine.

“In celebration of the holidays, About Face is offering audiences a luscious cabaret evening filled with songs from a classic musical, and lots of good cheer,” says Metzgar. “With his sparkle and wit, Rick Dildine leads us through MY FAIR LADY to ask the eternal question: Why can’t a woman be more like a man?”

Eliza Doolittle is a young aspiring drag queen with everything to learn and Henry Higgins is the queen who takes young Eliza under her wing. “England” is not the country but rather the biggest most glamorous drag club in town.

“Come when the doors open, get a free drink and meet the About Face family,” says Dildine. “Then, hold onto your Doolittle!”

Remaining true to its mission of supporting and empowering LGBTQ youth, About Face Theatre will be collecting donations at the event. New winter scarves, hats, and gloves will be collected and donated to Howard Brown's Broadway Youth Center to be given to youth experiencing homelessness.
