Harness your inner princess by spending a magical, musical afternoon celebrating the amazing journey that the quintessential Disney female heroine has taken since Cinderella in 1950. It all started with "Someday My Prince Will Come." Empowerment slowly crept in through the years, with The Little Mermaid's Ariel singing about "... bright young women, sick of swimming, ready to stand," right up to the 2013 song that's inspired countless belt-it-out sessions in family cars across the country: "Let It Go" from Frozen. Your whole family will be singing along and feeling inspired to make dreams come true in a big way. Learn More

This is the third in a series of plays by this playwright, taking Greek tragedy and making it contemporary and Latino. The production is tight, fierce and engaging. This is a thrilling production which suffers from it's own ambition but succeeds in it's attempt to educate and entertain. Oye!

An all-around powerful, exciting, and beautifully rendered performance! I've already highly recommended it to a number of people. Too bad there isn't more time for folks to have the pleasure of seeing it.

This is not your mama’s Oedipus … In Luis Alfaro’s thrilling reboot of the daddy of all tragedies, a young Chicano ex-con sets out on a journey to be the king of the South Central LA gangland. Set amid the sizzling rhythms and explosive violence of an inner-city barrio, the gripping story follows his family of ex-cons through the vicious cycle of fate and violence in which they find themselves trapped. Oedipus el Rey is a sexy, modern take on a classic.
