Barack Obama, Jesus, anarchists, gay rappers and more -- clearly, that's a perfect cast of characters for the new political comedy revue One Nation Under 1%. Penned by current Second City mainstagers Edgar Blackmon and Katie Rich, along with Ross Bryant, One Nation (subtitle: Or, This Show Is Not Going to Solve Anything But Neither Is the Election, So Let's Just Laugh About Both & Drink) perfectly skewers political ideologies, the political process, the entire election season, and the country itself. Billy Bungeroth directs this show on the renowned UP Comedy Club stage.

I loves me some Second City sketch and improv but I've gotta say that this wasn't the funnier of the Second City's shows I've seen. It was probably the least amusing of the 10 times I've been. Don't get me wrong, you'll still laugh but I'd say if you've got other Second City options - give them a try.

Good sketches. It could have related to the election a bit more.

if you are aware of politics and antics in the US- you are sure to have a good time and laugh topics that are not always laughable.

Excellent show - very clever humor and kept up to date with what is going on now with the election. Only 1 part of the show with the prisoner that seemed more like a play, slow, not funny - I was anxious for them to get back to the comedy! Great comedians, loved the interaction with the audience.
