Last night’s White Sox game, July 29, with friend Lisa was great—Four home runs, two in two back to back innings by Castro and then Konerko and Quentin homered back to back in the 7th. This team fights back; keep the fireworks coming.
I highly recommend the Pace bus service for this event. Even though I had to drive to Bolingbrook it was worth it for four bucks each way to have someone take the difficult part of the driving. Free parking in Bolingbrook and Burr Ridge! We also got half off reserved seats on the lower deck through Goldstar. We had a good view and the seats were close to the bathroom and food. Goldstar everything now. Char dogs are as good as ever and don’t miss the Mexican style shaved corn on the cob with choice of toppings (lime and red pepper are the best). We had to call another friend, Harvey, during the game, to tell him we were having a lot of fun.
Ichiro Suzuki and the Seattle Mariners come to town, taking on the Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field. Paul Konerko’s 12th season with the Sox is shaping up to be his best, and Alex Rios is emerging as a star who hits for average, slugs home runs, and steals bases.
