Lyle Lovett and His Large Band play the Ravinia Pavilion for a summer evening concert outside. The singer-songwriter's wise, witty lyrics and blend of folk, country, blues and jazz have earned him widespread critical acclaim, four Grammy Awards and more than four million album sales. A native Texan, Lovett has been a roundly respected star since his self-titled 1986 debut LP, which spawned the singles "Farther Down the Line" and "Cowboy Man." His hits since then have included "Give Back My Heart," "If I Had a Boat," "Don't Touch My Hat" and a cover of the classic "Stand by Your Man." Learn More

Great concert! Fantastic evening. The skyline behind the stage was beautiful and Soldier Field was lit up in red, white & blue for D-day. The bands all sounded like they did on their albums. It was so much fun. My husband and I were smart, decided to ride our bikes there from Lincoln Park. Sure made coming and going easy. Also, if you prefer craft beers over Corona, 312, Bud & Bud light keep walking. There was a Revolution beer stand further into the venue.
