The instructors were fantastic, the class was a lot of fun! I'm hooked!
One caveat: if you bring your own dance partner/think this will be a date...it's not time together. Everyone constantly rotates partners. While at first I was a little put off by this, I quickly realized how much faster everyone improves this way...and then afterwards, you can work with your partner to give tips based on your time dancing with others. So it's a great idea, after all.
And if you DON'T bring a partner...this is a great way to meet other singles in a fun environment. I'd say just over half of the people in my class were completely single; a few groups of male friends, a few groups of female friends, and a few courageous people who came on the first day without knowing anyone at all.
Have a sense of humor, wear good shoes, brush your teeth, and be ready for a light workout. The group was dressed casually.

LOVED it! High energy staff, excellent instruction.

My wife and I thought that the course would be too physically demanding, but instead we were pleasantly suprised at the pace and care given by the two instructors. It was fun.

This class is for the true beginner--no experience and no partner necessary.
Swing I: Intro to Swing will introduce the concepts of leading and following as well as the basic rhythm and turns of six-count swing. The instructors will present the material at a moderate pace, quick enough to keep it moving and slow enough to allow plenty of practice time.
This is a series of three classes, and you will rotate partners throughout the class.
