It was pretty basic but it was a large group with different levels of previous dance experience so we all had to start from square one. I think that this class will take me where I want to go, though. Everyone was friendly. I did not feel uncomfortable even though I was probably the oldest person there. All ages mingled well.

If you are a beginner, this is a good way to get started. The dance floor is small-ish for the number in the class, but adequate. I learned (and re-learned a few moves, but if you've had experience, go to Swing II. Good instruction... just make sure they get to you for some personal 1-on-1.

1st class addressed basic information/pointers which was helpful; comfortable environment to ask questions; crowded class so it was very warm

So much fun! The instructors were a joy, while laying a good foundation. I came by myself, and the format makes it very comfortable for singles also.

From a guy that can't dance, it was fun and not intimidating at all. The hour passed by almost too quickly!

The teachers were great & they made it easy to catch on. It's a laid-back environment that makes the experience non-intimidating. I can't wait to continue on with the lessons. I highly recommend Big City Swing.

The instructors are fantastic, and they do a great job of really breaking it down for two left footers like me. No shin guards required!
