An ancient tale inaugurates the Dream Theatre Company's new space as Medea, a main stage production from Jeremy Menekseoglu, opens at the Company's Lincoln Square location. Menekseoglu, whom the Chicago Reader called one of the city's "most ambitious, prolific, original, and gifted playwrights," has boldy re-imagined the classic Greek tragedy, focusing on the psychological damage to Medea's children and the deteriorating state of her marriage to the hero Jason. Once potent enough to slay a Titan, Medea's magic may not be enough to save her marriage -- and it comes at a terrible, bloody price. Rachel Martindale plays the title role in this visceral production at the Dream Laboratory. Learn More
